Mangrove Restoration Program at Sabak Bernam, Selangor in collaboration with St. Joseph’s Institution International School Malaysia

Wetlands International in collaboration with St. Joseph’s Institution International School Malaysia had successfully carried out mangrove planting activity on June 15th, 2024 with assistance from Selangor State Forestry Department and Sabak Bernam Land and District Office. A total of 55 secondary school students participated in this activity and planted 300 mangrove seedlings (Rhizophora mucronata) at Sabak Bernam, Selangor. Following the planting session, the students did site clean-up and collected four bags of debris from within the planting area.
