A CSR Mangrove Restoration Program was successfully organised with QL Resources Berhad, bringing together 130 staff members in a collective effort to restore degraded coastal areas. The program took place within the Banjar Utara Forest Reserve, Selangor, where a total of 1,500 mangrove seedlings (Rhizophora species) were planted in partnership with the Selangor State Forestry Department.

This initiative is part of QL Resources Berhad’s ongoing commitment to environmental conservation and social responsibility. Since 2022, the company has been conducting annual mangrove planting programs as part of its dedication to protecting coastal ecosystems, mitigating climate impacts, and supporting biodiversity restoration.

Through continuous collaboration between the corporate sector, government agencies, and local partners, these efforts not only help strengthen coastal resilience but also create lasting environmental and social benefits for surrounding communities.
