Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club (KLGCC) is a very prestigious club that has deteriorated badly over the years and, with major renovation works, is now to become the flagship for Sime Darby with their World HQ to be constructed adjacent to the course.
Associated with this development is the construction of a retention pond, wetlands and wild life reserve area within the golf course adjacent to the HQ building. Within this area there will be set up a bird hide and board walk and also nesting sites for birds. Other areas of the golf course will also be modified to include wetlands and “non-maintained” habitat areas.
