On 16 August 2025, Gutor Electronic Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd. carried out a mangrove replanting program as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, reaffirming their commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
The program was organised in collaboration with Wetlands International and the Pantai Klang District Forest Office, bringing together corporate and conservation partners for a shared goal in restoring vital coastal ecosystems.
During the activity, a total of 500 Rhizophora mangrove seedlings were successfully planted within the Banjar Utara Forest Reserve, Selangor. These seedlings will contribute to strengthening the mangrove belt, enhancing coastal resilience, and supporting biodiversity.
This initiative demonstrates how corporate partnerships can play a vital role in advancing conservation efforts, while also inspiring greater community and industry participation in protecting Malaysia’s mangrove heritage.
