On 15 June 2025, a mangrove replanting activity was successfully carried out as part of the ongoing efforts to restore and conserve Malaysia’s mangrove ecosystems. The program saw the participation of 40 volunteers from Universiti Malaya and Tara Foundation, with generous sponsorship support from IX Caffe and Vendraa Venture Trading Sdn. Bhd.
A total of 350 mangrove seedlings (Rhizophora species) were planted within the Banjar Utara Forest Reserve, Selangor, in partnership with the Selangor State Forestry Department. These seedlings will help strengthen the mangrove belt, improve coastal resilience, and support biodiversity in the area.
This initiative, carried under the tagline “Revive the Roots, Restore the Earth,” underscores the importance of corporate-community partnerships in safeguarding vital ecosystems while fostering greater awareness of mangrove conservation.
