Wetlands International was invited by our BwN core group member – FRIM to highlight the importance of local community involvement in ensuring sustainable Mangrove Restoration efforts. Ms Yong Huaimei, Senior Technical officer from Wetlands International gave a presentation on Local community empowerment in Mangroves Restoration – case studies from Malaysia and Indonesia.
